Door Logo
Heres an idea I have, the paint on my truck isnt spectacular, and I don't really like the color so I want to add a custom door logo to spice t up a bit. I had a friend of mine help me make it in photo shop, and bw4sale helped me 'shop it on my door in the photoshop forum. What do you guys think? Any ideas? I want to change the background color of the cross to white, it might show up better on my red truck. Input is appreciated.
Heres the logo Here it is on my truck (thanks bw4sale) An heres a closer on of the door |

Re: Door Logo
cool, but IMO I think the Maltese cross is on everything now and it might look better without

Re: Door Logo
honestly... I'll agree that your truck is missing something... but I don't think this is what it's missing. It's too nice to do this to.
That's just my opinion though. |

Re: Door Logo
That is a nice design.I think it`s too detailed for door art and would make a better sticker, like for the window.
With door art you want the name to stand out over all else. What I think your truck needs is some excitement in the wheel department. That plain red body will come alive with some hot wheels.

Re: Door Logo
I have to agree with some of the posts above...
If you decide to put a logo on the doors, pick one that's a little less busy (or remove the iron cross and you'll be set) If you're looking to change the look of the truck, get some different wheels, or look at doing a few other things to set the truck apart from the rest.

Re: Door Logo
Your truck is very nice! The logo looks great too, but as said, it would look much better as a window sticker on the back window!

Re: Door Logo
Hmmm. The artwork is very well done, but I don't think it fits with the look of your truck. Your ride is straight, clean and appears to have decent paint on it. The logo design is more synonymous with the "run what ya' brung" crowd, the old skool hot rodders who cobbled together their rides from whatever they could scrounge up on a shoe-string budget. Finishing and exterior aesthetics were secondary to performance and the overall driving experience. If you want a shop truck- go score a beater and roll it as is. Otherwise, I'd jazz up your truck with some 18's, some sport mirrors, chrome hoops for the grill (and maybe paint it white too), tint the side glass, and maybe put on some CST trim.

Re: Door Logo
Here's a few different wheel options...with tint, and a red tailgate.
Classic wheels - 15" and very affordable... Again - affordable classics... The most popular...And a little bigger. DLB |

Re: Door Logo
My vote is no logo. Your truck is straight and clean...I agree w/ the wheel suggestions, but I love trim. That may help set it off! Less is more in my book. Nice truck!

Re: Door Logo
Wow thanks for the help/suggestions guys! Thanks Orange, the pics look great. I really like the Torq Thrusts, even though they are very common. And the tint is great too. What is involved in adding trim to it once it has been removed? I personally like the look of the newer two piece trim, can this be added to a 67-68 truck?
