Re: My turn for a build up post!!
I just read your question a little closer, I believe your problem may be the placement of the filter. It should be betweent the pump and carb, the pump is probably not strong enough to pull it thru the filter on the suction side.

Re: My turn for a build up post!!
I'll try pulling it out, and put the one back in the carb. Maybe I bought a bad pump.
The Sunset Pearl I used is a house of kolor paint.

Re: My turn for a build up post!!
its running on its own now, my first problem was a dirt dobber nest inside the rubber hose that connects the tank to the main line (should've seen that come flying when blew it out at 145psi). second problem was the inline filter before the the pump. thanks for the help.

Glad I could be of some help. Like to see some more pics out in the sun once you get it all back together.

Re: My turn for a build up post!!
Very nice build, Like the paint scheme! Any thought on rims? Are they going to be like the ones in the inspirational pic? Keep up the good work

Re: My turn for a build up post!!
I still haven't decided on rims, yet. I'm having a hard time finding something i like, that i don't have to modify something to fit so I can put them on. besides that, unless i get a freebie on them i pretty much can't afford them.

Re: My turn for a build up post!!
i have only been working on it in short spurts. i have a very limited amount of free time these days. what i have been doing doesn't really warrant pics either. just trying to plumb the air, got the rear done and fronts ran found a leak in my brand new valve manifold....uuugh.....still got to run the guages and wire in the switch box....once i finally get all of that done then fire it up and make sure everthing works. then put the bed floor in. followed by a trip to the exhaust shop.....slowly but surely i am getting there

Re: My turn for a build up post!!
I really find it hard to believe that I haven't posted since December.....I am really discouraged....any way I have been working on it about 2 hours a week, lol, not alot of freetime on my end.....I finally got the bed floor in, and the bed squared up and mounted to the frame....i am still having valve issues....Its sitting in the carport with about an 1/8 inch thick layer of dust on it.....i went down to hardware store and got some 3/8 T's w/ compression fittings, then some schrader valves so i could air up the suspension......hopefully sometime within the next few weeks i will be able to drive it out of the carport and wash the dirt off....lol......i know, I know, I owe you all some pics.....I miss driving my driving my truck!

I may be moving my oldest to Kansas soon. Where are they sending you? I am not familiar with the Army locations, just my zoomie USAF world.

Re: My turn for a build up post!!
its still sitting......I deployed for Iraq shortly after I moved to KS, so it sits in the garage at my new house patiently waiting. I'm home on R&R right now and the honey do list is so long I havent even opened the garage door...lol.....I'll get to it. All I got left is finishing the A/C, interior, exhaust, and touch ups.

Re: My turn for a build up post!!
nope, no progress yet, I am still in Iraq. I have ordered the wheels, some stuff called "Rattle Trap" made by "FatMat" for under carpet insulation, and I have gotten a line on a serpentine set-up from a 4.3. I won't be able to work on it again unitl shortly after I get home. I am planning on making this show:
