6-lug Corvette rally and disc brakes- yes or no?

Ok, next question... Im getting the 6-lug dropped spindles and disc brake conversion... I also wanna get the the 6-lug Corvette Rallys that Wheel Vintiques sells... Anybody know if the 15x7s fit over the discs ok? ok then, How about the 15x8s? they both have 4.0" backspace if that helps... and is 15x8 too wide to be slammed on 215/70/15- will they rub? thank you thank you thank you for all your help guys!!!

Re: 6-lug Corvette rally and disc brakes- yes or no?

those were 275/60/15's w/ 15 x 8's. I have since went to 15 x 7's w/ 235/70/15...... so both will work!

and those wheels were made by Wheel Vintiques.

Use caution as from what I have read on here not all rally wheels will. I will try and search, but there is a diagram posted showing the different shapes and which one will work with disk brakes.

Re: 6-lug Corvette rally and disc brakes- yes or no?

I have Wheel Vintiques "Pre-71 truck" Vette-style rallye wheels on my truck, too. It has ECE conversion from drums to discs, and the 15x8's with a 4-inch backspace fit perfectly. The wheels are centered on the rotors and do not rub on the inside of the front wheel cutouts unless you're in a hard turn and the suspension bottoms out....something that only happened one time in the past 7 years. Without the same backspace, converting to discs may cause a lesser backspace wheel to stick further out and maybe even beyond the edge of the fender opening. I had to use 15x7's before I went to these wheels from Wheel Vintique. www.summitracing.com is where I got mine.
