Focased is not good for gauges. They will eventually get cheaper like the red LEDs. You can buy 100 for a couple of bucks. They just have to manufactured more to get the price down. They will soon!

I just repalced my lights with ones from www.superbrightleds.com, and it was worth it! I repalced the 1157 whites pu front, and the 1157 reds in the rear, and used the 4 bulb (brighter) bullets for my marker lamps. The only one they didn't have was the clear/white 1156 for my backup lights. $35 for everything, nad then you have to buy a $10 electronic flasher unit. But hey, that crisp instant on/off blinking, and the different glow from the LEDS makes it worth it

Would you be able to use the LED's for turn signal units on the dash.....?

Yes. They just plug in. Any 168 or mini wedge LED bulb would work.

They have them in red,green, blue, yellow, etc, so you can mix and match. Just a regular bayonet plug in bulb.
