Very nice "69"

I went to see a buddy of mine that has a shop next door to a place that sells wheels and tires. As I came out to get in my car I see this beauty parked outside and I was pleasantly surprised to see such a nice truck here locally as these trucks are not as common as camaros, chevelles, novas etc here in miami. The wheel were custom made intro wheels I am not crazy about the look of the actual wheel but never the less it looked really nice. Also the guy had the cowl panel chrome plated which I had never seen before at least not in person.I thought I would share the picts with you all...

was kinda a fad there for a while, don't particularly remember the era, but it grossed me out then and still does today, but each to his own. that's why it takes all kinds.

Great looking truck, but I agree with everyone about the chrome cowl.

Re: Very nice "69"

I like the chrome cowl. I like it so much that I have one on my '68. I have never been blinded by it. I can't see it when I am in the drivers seat. The chrome wiper arms are a different story though.

Re: Very nice "69"

Different strokes for different folks but I thought it looked really good except for the cowl panel just not my taste. I did not get to see the engine compartment but I was told that the truck was a frame off restoration.

I'm not a big fan either. They look kind of like an afterthought, something like "hey, lets mount this chrome front bumper under the windshield!"

Thumbs up Re: Very nice "69"

I like the chrome cowl. I had a friend in town that had a black 72 with a chrome cowl and it was very sharp. these pictures show it no justice.
