How to take grille off? 72
Well, my brother said to me, the truck is yours, but you have to pay me $500 by 2010. So I now have a truck! Woohoo! I got more done today than we have done since we've had the truck. So far I have most of the body painted flat black, the top and sides of the rear half of the chassis painted, all debadged except grille emblem, broken exhaust system cut off, trim rings thrown out, and more. I'll get pics tomorrow.
So heres my question. I got all of the screw for the grille removed, so how do I get it out? Do I have to take the grille bezel off first?

Congrats on the truck, are you talking about the entire drill shell or just the plastic from the middle? From what i can remember when i switched mine out, the grill shell unbolts from the inner fender and the bracket down the center of the grill it should come out as a whole. The plastic should have 4 clip type things that you just unscrew and it comes off. Hope that helps and post some pics of the truck. Im sure that some one else can help more than i can i suck at explaining things.

That really helps! Man, now I have to take the whole thing off to paint it. Or I'll put some newspaper in front of the radiator.
Heres the project thread. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=291757 Moving it to the new "old" house. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=307531
