A classic picture of a wife being neglected because of a Chevy truck. She knew you loved the truck more than her, so she came out and layed on the seat all decked out to get your attention. Now thats a good wife.

Re: Does your wife help you work on you truck?

My wife has a seat in the shop. she does not help she supervises and tells me every time that I mess up and laughs when I hurt myself.

Come to think of it though she did help me strip the paint off and remove the cab.

Re: Does your wife help you work on you truck?

everytime my wife sees my truck she thinks about calling her divorce attorney.

I am the third generation to have the truck. My grandfather purchased it new.

She has yet to sit in it.

Re: Does your wife help you work on you truck?

My lovely, supportive wife just walked out of the bedroom and let out a belch any man would be proud of. She's a country girl, used to drive her dads 74 ford High boy with the 428 to school. She'll help if I ask, and will do some of the not to dirty stuff. I'm sure when I get to finishing the interior she'll get involved.

my wife is an artist, so when it's time to paint she always asks to help. Other times, not so much.

Re: Does your wife help you work on you truck?

All I have to say is Wow what a thread! I was married for 17 years and all she did was complain about everything I did. Well she gone! I now go to car shows work in my garage, drink beer and I never worry about the time. I have a girl friend that likes what I do and wants her own truck. She brings me food, beer and washes my grease clothes with a smile I haven't got her to turn a wrench but she like to watch. She doesn't complain about the money either. Its like Heaven......now if I could just quit work and play trucks all the time, life would be grand
Oh yeah! she even goes to the junk yard with me,,,,,,,

Yes she does---she crabs and I go work on the truck. Otherwise, I would do something else.

Re: Does your wife help you work on you truck?

I guess in a way she does. If you can justify her nagging about what I spend on the truck which drives me out to my garage to work on it so I don't have to listen to her then I would say she does.

Just don't marry her - if you marry them they change! I held out for 6 years, she has tightened the noose ever since.

Re: Does your wife help you work on you truck?

Since she isn't working right now, and since the "pile-o-parts" is sitting in the driveway, she offered to help me get it ready to paint. Of course, I'm still waiting on the guy who is gonna replace a major chunk of sheet metal to do his thing, but she's willing to do whatever I need her to do. Whatta girl!
