I think you get a raised steering arm or a block to raise it. My 77 Has a older Rancho 4" lift, blocks and add-a-leafs in the rear, springs in the front, and a block to raise the steering arm.

You should be fine just getting 4" front springs and keeping the blocks in the rear.

You may also want to look into extended brake hoses and possibly a transfer case lowering kit if you dont already have em. My 89 Blazer had a 4" lift and the t-case was lowered a little to correct the driveshaft angle.
