bolt for tranny to motor

what bolt do you guys use? are they anything special compare to the one at the hardware store? any info would be great.

You would probably want a grade 8 bolt. Other than that it's just a bolt. I forget the size and thread though.

We use grade 5 when we don't have the factory bolts. 3/8-16x1 1/2" long. Check the depth of thread before tightening as the 1 1/2" long bolts have to be cut off if they bottom in the thread.
