Yay!!
Just ordered my 700r4 from Bowtie Overdrives. I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl! Well, maybe giddy as a schoolboy.
I'm so pumped! My Suburban will LIVE!! I guess I better start getting the old transmission out and get it set up for the new one!

Let's see:
I popped for the heavy-duty unit (level III), the 'special' output shaft for four-wheel-drives (another $150), HD torque coverter, Shift linkage kit, flip-top dipstick, manual converter switch, trans temp gauge, & manual lock-up wiring. Grand total was $1,750 shipped. They gave me a $100 off (I think for shipping). Level I trannys (good for 450HP) are $866 without the extra goodies. The level III that I got starts at 1284.
