2me's 63 C-10 Fleetside X-Longbed Project
Been browsing for a few weeks and thought I'd post some pics of our latest project. Picked it up off of Craigslist for $1000. Has a 283 with a 3 speed that is now on the floor. Body is decent, usual rust spots and the driver door will need to be skinned. The bed is in great shape, only rust was on the top of the bed rails. We have already converted it to a shortbed(still need to take some pics). Plans are:
Full airride possibly with a new backhalf with independent rear Mild Chop Suicide doors Pics when we picked her up: Pics of starting the shortbed conversion, shaving holes and paint removal. Don't leave the cap to the muriatic acid off. The bare metal rusted that quick overnight. You can see more pics here. And a quick pic of the project we are finishing up in the next month Last edited by toomeycustoms; 01-09-2009 at 07:26 PM. |
