I need new shocks

Hi. I LOWER MY 67 GMC TODAY AND WHEN I GOT TO THE SHOCKS THEY WOULD NOT FIT BACK IN THERE RIGHT AND I THE NEED TRUCK TOMMOROW WE ARE GOING IN A TRIP I WAS WONDERING IF ANYBODY USE SHOCKS FROM DIFERENT VEHICLES? I HERAD THAT VOLVO MAY FIT BUT NOT SURE WITCH, IF NOT, IM GOING TO BE RIDING REAL SLOW GOING TO WORK AND BACK AND SKIP THE TRIP TOMOROW TILL I GET IT FROM GMCPAULS. THANKS

How much did you lower it?You tryed to use the same shocks that were on it before you lowered it?

6-4 the old shocks and are in the rear have coils and is really hard to compressem back

for the rear you'll need to buy or fab a kit for relocating the shocks for proper angle of operation// if you take a ruler and measure what your measurements are a good parts guy should b able to give you a set that will work/// most vendors on the board have shocks for lowered trucks as well as the rear relocation kits//you shoul also get the adjustable panhard bar kit so you can center the rear axel

You also might want to get a front end alignment before you do too much driving.
