Re: 72 with a 99 front clip on ebay

Why would someone do this? I could speculate and make catty comments, but it would serve no purpose. I wish him luck. Thei best thing I see is that the front and rear wheel openings match, so the 88-98 stepside bed doesn't look as bad as it does with mis-matched wheel openings.

Re: 72 with a 99 front clip on ebay

i know! it has three different types of bodylines. the frount is pretty round, the cab is square, and the bed has a little of both

too bad he hacked up a 72, i think a '99 truck with a stroker and 15x14s with mickeys out back woulda brought more money then something like this...just my two cents.

Re: 72 with a 99 front clip on ebay

I've always said the GMT 800 had our lines, and it almost works...

But I was hoping no one would take my comments seriously.

I dunno, I think in the right hands this could work.

Re: 72 with a 99 front clip on ebay

Once again someone has an idea (bad as it is), but completely fail to do any detail work. Rust is ALL over the place! Was there any rust repair at all? At least rattle can the rad support and frame black. Attention to details can get forgiveness for a lot of sins! Just my .02.

Re: 72 with a 99 front clip on ebay

Want a 99? Buy one. Want a 72? Buy one. Want an 88-98? Buy one.

But don't combine them all.

I just threw up and not just a little bit in my mouth.

Why do mongers choose our trucks to destroy? They are popular for what they are.

For punishment,he should be forced to look at it forever. That may just be the case anyhow.

I agree. I thinkk this is the second time I have seen something like this where they used one of our cabs. The other way around would definitely be better.
