70 4x4 body removal

Hi to all, I just thought I'd post some pics of my project truck. 1970 3/4, Dana 44, 4 spd. I started the tear down last weekend and thought I'd put some pics up. I'm up to the point where I will take the drivetrain out to detail the frame/engine/tranny/xfer case. I'll probably need pointers here.

Here's the pics so far, enjoy:

70 4x4 k20

Thanks Drobny, I know it doesn't look as great or involved as other's projects on here, but it'd my first 4x4 build and I'm doing all the work by myself so I'm pretty excited.

Here's a question I'd like to ask for anybody that can help. I want to take the engine, tranny and xfer case out. Where do you attach the chain to the engine to hoist the engine out? Also, I'm not really going to mess with the inside of these components since they are working great, Should I take them out or leave them as is and work around them? Should take the engine out only? I was wondering if I should take out the engine and tranny as one unit. I have a 5 ton hoist so lifting is not a problem. I was just wondering how to go about this because I couldn't find anything about it on the forum. I'd like to replace the motor and transmission mounts since I'm going to replace the body mounts as well.

Thanks in advance for any help.
