Oh no!
well i got a problem. i cut off the bottom door pillar to replace it and the little door backer plate fell out no biggie. any how i got tied up doing something else and left it for the day , the next day while in the garage i noticed my 3 year old playing with the plate so i took it and put it on the shelf. well that after noon i thought about it and decided i should tack it back in before it got lost and guess what its no where to be found. so if any one has one or can get one i would gladly pay for it. right now im to a point where i need to bolt the door on so that i can line up the rocker and install it

Re: Oh no!
Dont know if it is a repro'ed part. When you get it you will find the other one. It always happens!

Re: Oh no!
You talking about the plate on the hinge side? (because I don't remember if there is a plate on the striker). Upper lower are they the same?

Re: Oh no!
In a pinch I guess you could get a piece of 12 ga; or better to make a plate ,drill and weld nuts behind it.

Re: Oh no!
In the picture i tried to make an arrow to show a slot I made in the piller with a cut off wheel that I welded a strip of sheet metal to the plate to hold it loose but in place till my door is aligned and then I will weld the tab in place.
