Ride tech tubular lowers and a sway bar

I bought my tubular lowers a year ago and am now looking for a swaybar. The musclebar swaybar from ride tech is $400.00. Well I cant do that and I've found this one http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku in another members post for $180 something shipped. Problem is its 40.5" center to center (hole to hole) and the mounting holes for the ride tech lowers are about 47". I can either cut the tabs off the tubular lowers (powder coated) and re weld or possibly re bend the swaybar to make work. Any suggestions other than buy the musclebar?

Re: Ride tech tubular lowers and a sway bar

Nathan Porter from Porterbuilt Streetrods told me that he can have a custom bar bent for less money than that one from Summit. I think they were from Hellwig? I would give him a call and see if he can help you out.

I have the front sway bar for the Ride Tech lower control arms...would you be willing to do a trade if you already have the sway bar? I need a sway bar with the 40 inch mount spacing for a customer project, and I'm just about to order one. If you don't already have the sway bar, I can sell you mine. Let me know. Thanks.

Are you planing on getting really low? Like laying frame? I had those arms and mine being z'd those arms were way to close to the ground.

Re: Ride tech tubular lowers and a sway bar

I can get you a 1.125" bar for $200 shipped. If you have the "new" style ART lowers (the ones that have the shock mounting tab pointing up) it will fit like a glove.

Does that include endlinks and mounting brackets?

The shock mounting tabs point up, but the swaybar tabs are horizontal to the ground and are about 47" center to center. 175 is with the end links and brackets?

Who is the manufacturer of the bar and the hardware? Could we buy just the bar? I'm thinking about getting those AirRide end links instead of the standard bolt/bushing/spacer setup.

Re: Ride tech tubular lowers and a sway bar

I had to make an edit to my earlier post regarding pricing on the bar. I was given some misinformation and they will be $200 shipped. I have sold a few at the $175 price, and am working with a couple more that WILL recieve that same price.

Also, I can get pretty much any eye to eye width necessary, just PM me for pricing.
