Let's talk about brake fluid!
I got my order in Monday from Praise dyno brakes, I am replaceing everything, from booster to pads, rotors, drums, lines, every thing! The only thing that will be original is the brake pedal. I would like to know what brake fluid should I use? I have heard night mares about silicone fluid, and air bubbles, so what do you guys think? Would like to go with the best, but not sure which one to go with. So if you wre completely redoing your brake what would you use?
Sam

I have used silicone with no problems. It does have it's draw backs but mostly at high altitudes. The are really only two reasons to use it...one if you have a weekend toy that sits in the garage more than you drive it and two if you have trick paint. Other than that it is just not worth the extra cost. For a daily driver I would just use dot 3 and move on

Read that site really good...lots and lots of good info on it.
I posted that a year ago or so and I read the whole thing. I think everyone could probably learn at least one thing by reading that. |
