6 lug rims

I have a 68 frame under a 72 body. I also have a set each of 6.5" and 7" rims. Will one or the other give me more clearance on the bed? I had larger rims and they rubbed the inside of the bed.
Thanks, TF

Without knowing the backspacing on each set of rims I think it would be hard to give you an answer. Rim width is only part of the "formula" to determine if a rim will interfere, the other parts of the formula are the backspacing and the tire profile. The backspacing can be measured easily and with the info you have on the "larger rims" you can make an informed decision. Hope this helps.

Rims

The 7" are inset 5 5/8, the 6 1/2" are inset 5 7/8. So for clearance, I guess I'll go with the the 7's. Thanks for the input. I don't know why I didn't think to measure. Thanks for jogging my brain. TF
