Front Brakes
OK, here is the ? I started redoing the front brakes tonight on my 71 and I ran into something I don't understand. The passenger side shoes were worn all the way down, I mean all the way! The drivers side still look good, plenty of pad left. What would cause this. I have checked the hoses, and the piston, and everything looks good. What do you guy's think it could be? I stil have the rubber flex lines on it, do you think they need to be changed out, they look fine. LMK
I left the wheels off tonight to clean them up good tomorrow. I'm trying to get it ready for the 6 hr. drive in two weeks to Myrtle beach for the show.

Could the driver's side be improperly bled? Also, did it pull to the left when braking before? Were you the last one to change the pads? If not, the previous owner could have just changed one set of pads instead of two.

Caliper
I checked it and couldn't tell, what do I need to look for, I used a c-clamp to push it back in and it worked fine. I payed with it for about a hr. I installed the brakes twice and it seemed to work fine.

It's the hose. The hose is a double wall. The outer is for protection of the inner. The inner has collapsed.

That's what I was thinking maybe the hose. It looks fine but! I might just go buy 2 in the morning and redo the brakes. Low68 I did the last brake job, and no I haven't noticed any side pulling. I might need to bleed them really good tomorrow though, and replace all the brake fluid also.
