Lower A-arm install

How exactly do you know if/when you have these installed correctly? I have taken the entire frame apart am now putting it back together and have no real way to tell if the lower A-arm is installed correctly that I can tell. Any and all help on this would be great.

Re: Lower A-arm install

You asking about the stock arms?

The cross shaft should fit into a little pin.

Re: Lower A-arm install

Yes factory stock arms just installed new cross shafts in them and now need to reinstall them back onto the frame. I don't see really anything to locate them in a specific location.

Re: Lower A-arm install

There is a recessed divot in the control arm shaft that will index on a nub sticking out of the crossmember.

Ok I thought that might be for something but didn't see the nub on the cross member I'll go look right now. Hope I put the cross shafts in correctly.

Ok after looking at my A-arms I installed one correct and one incorrect and they sit up in the cup and is held in place by the mounting bolt for the cup.
