I know the floors and doors are different and all of the 40-60 series had a small back window i think.

Yeah, what too much stuff said. You would be further head finding a pickup cab. All had small back window, too. Does it have any options? Some came with buckets and tach(lot had black interior, too).

Re: Any 1970 C-50 Owners, I have ?'s
I am buying it regardless, just trying to figure out what to do with it if I have problems with the trans, or rear end in the future. I also bought a 1969 1 ton chassis that had been extended, but has no title? I can put it to work either way. 650.00 for a good truck that runs is too good to pass up! I bought the C-30 for 100.00

All the big trucks had small back windows. It should bolt onto the 69 frame, you may needs to modify some stuff though, not sure what though.

I guy at local junkyard kept hounding me about it, and finally offered me about 3 times what I had in it, so I let it go. I do kind miss having it around sometimes. I had a 292, 4 speed with the 2 speed rear.

So where is the section for useless posts? That's where most of yours would go.

Has anyone seen one of these used for a car hauler? I alsobought a C-30 with an extended frame that I will have to get a title on and planned on building a flat bed car hauler out of it. I guess I could dove tail a flat bed on the C-50, I think it might be a little overkill for a car hauler though |

Re: Any 1970 C-50 Owners, I have ?'s
Car haulers, not that many in the big trucks, mostly 30 series, but here are a few big ones.
These are the only ones I have ever found in the big series.

Re: Any 1970 C-50 Owners, I have ?'s
It would make a great car hauler, but my '69 C-30 ramp does just about everything I need it to. I would recommend 18'+ on what ever you do. There's been several times where I wished I had an extra foot or two longer on the bed. LWB trucks hang over a little, and I wish it was at least 18'.
