windshield washer hoses routing?

I need some help I need to know the routing of the windshield washer hoses Im guessing the inout is the one by intself and the outputs are the two that are side by side. I have every manual for these trucks and they all say be sure you mark where they were. Well what if your truck didnt have them to begin with . I just rebuilt it and dont want to burn out the pump by running it dry! by the way does it have to be primed and if so HOW? thanks for your help guys

Re: windshield washer hoses routing?

The inlet is the larger diameter hose barb and the outlets are the two smaller ones. I did not mark the outlets when I took them off. As far as priming the pump, I connected the hoses and pushed the washer knob a few times and it pumped the fluid very quickly. I did fill the supply hose with washer fluid using a windex bottle, before trying it.
And I rebuilt the old pump with a rebuild kit and could not get it to work-I believe the piston was worn out. Ended up ordering a new ANCO pump (p/n ANC 61-02), made in the USA. Installed it and it worked like a charm!
