A Pulley thing
Does anyone have a part number for the power steering pulley which goes on the pump? It needs to fit a 1967 327. The pump mounts in a cradle on the front lower drivers side of the block, there is also a bracket to support it out the back which attaches to the drivers side isolator pad (motor mount). The pump is the round bodied style with the filler neck attached. The pulley is keyed and is held on by a nut. The depth from the back of the mounting boss to the back of the shive needs to be 3/8". (put a tape measure against the back of the pulley hole and eyeball across the back of the disc). My harmonic balancer is correct 283/327 (small). Thanks for looking, Pete

Re: A Pulley thing
Welcome to the site...
A few years ago, I wasn't able to find just the pulley. I had to buy a complete asm at a salvage yard. Most of these pumps are standard in cars of that era, also. Also, check the parts forum on this site and if you subscribe you can post a "want to buy." |
