Scotts ifs for $1395?? Not a group buy..just good pricing.
Okay so here's the deal, I know that 2k-3k is a lot of coin to drop all at once for a front suspension. So we've come up with a way to make it a bit more affordable for the "project minded"
What we are doing is selling our ifs as a component piece at a discount price. Here's what you will get. Our complete one piece Scotts Crossmember set up fpr airbags or coilovers. The crossmember will have the rack mounts attached to it as well. You will get a complete set of Scotts adjustable a-arms; All 4 top and bottom with ball joints pressed in. Lastly you will get a set of spindles, drop or stock height, your choice. These will be a Mustang II style spindle to allow for a little bit greater choice in aftermarket brakes. So the only items you need to buy to get you on the road is a rack, brakes, coilover or airbags/shocks, and you are pretty much ready to rock. Rather than a group buy, I'd rather just make this YOUR guy's pricing. You ca,, me, I'll get it to ya. Remember you NEED to let me know that you are from the 67-72 board.

Have you guys ever done any kits for early Mustangs and other cars based on that chassis? I know you guys where doing some fast backs, but I think they where full frame cars. I had a guy asking about MII on his big block car, for better performance and also so he can change his spark plugs. Your set up looks a lot more tunable than the traditional MII, plus I don't like they way most MII kits are put together. I'd rather try to sway him to something more high end.

Well I'll need to go take a front end apart to get bare pics....but if you haven't seen a picture of our ifs, here is a complete unit for a 67-72 (less brakes); So put your fingers over all the other parts so you can only see the crossmember, a-arms, and spindles.......and that's what ya get....
found some pics of a 67 install, so here's exactly what you'll have installed. Note that this ifs will get a full 10" of travel....

I can do that, but just remember you'll need a set of our a-arms, or you'll need to fabricate a set.

Other than having to be welded in, how does this compare to a dropmember? I am looking for a 4WD Blazer and plan on converting to 2WD using a PB Dropmember or this crossmember. How low would this put me with stock height spindles and 31" tall tires? How much difference do drop spindles make (other than having more air in the bags at ride height)

Also, can you post some pictures of the polished A-arms?
And a price for this (Superslam) with Slam Re-7 bags (4 for front and rear), Power rack, and a decent cross drilled front and rear 5 lug 12" brake setup.

Re: Scotts ifs for $1395?? Not a group buy..just good pricing.
Well to be honest I really hate "comparing" one product to another. However I can tell you that our products are apples to oranges in that direct comparison.
let me simply tell you what we offer and what we do. ALL of our ifs systems are built one at a time and built per application. So simply put, you are getting a front suspension built for YOUR truck, not just a 67-72 pickup. If you have a custom frame, custom ride height, custom track, whatever it may be, we will design and build it. If you are looking for a truck to sit low, and ride nice, that's no problem. If you need a truck to tow heavy loads, or to handle the road course, no problem, we will design it. This doesn't mean that we take a crossmember, rebuild it, and stick a set of arms on it. What this means is that EVERY A-arm is unique. EVERY crossmember is unique. There is nothing pre-built and ready to ship. Engineering and design are Critical in every application. Aside from the design of the suspension and uniqueness in the way we build things, we are also a one stop shop. When you buy our suspensions, you will get everything you need. And if it isn't included in the price, we will at least have it in stock and available from us so there is no need to shop anywhere else. If you buy a suspension from us, and a column, and u-joints, etc., and something doesn't work........well there is no passing the buck. We will take care of things here cause you bought it here. Also, we try to package things to keep them economical for everyone. With our system there is no need to go drop $1200 on a set of Air-ride arms. There is no need to go drop cash on eBay for a set of brakes. Hub to Hub WITH power is only $2495.00 COMPLETE. Now if you were to just buy the crossmember and A-arms at the $1395 price, you are still getting away dirt cheap in comparison, for everything else you need to buy. But as a complete unit, you will save about $500 by the time you are all done.

A lot of people ask for Chrome instead of stainless, and sorry, we just don't offer it. When we do a "show" front end we use solid bar stainless and polish it in house to a mirror finish. Pricing on the front suspension as a complete units is $2395.00 plus $100 for power rack (core charge). That is hub to hub, 11" rotors, spindles, rack, all bearings and seals, etc. For brake upgrades there is an endless amount of options, but for all of our typical upgrades we use Wilwood kits. For example, the upgrade price to an 11" cross drilled rotor, black caliper Wilwood kit is $799.00. For the same kit just non-cross drilled the upgrade is $627.00 We can do up to a 14" rotor and 6 piston caliper.
