disc brake conversion

i am planning to do a 4 wheel disc conversion, im going to start with the front first

i have a 1970 2wd 3/4 ton i plan to use 71 rotors/calipers do i need to change the spindles? or will 71 stuff bolt on?

Yes, you will have to get disc spindles.

As far as I know the control arms are the same. But you'll need to change the ball joints and either change the steering center link and use the 71-72 inner and outer tie rods. Or I think you can get an adapter to keep the stock center link and inner tie rods. The 69-70 and 71-72 tie rods have different thread sizes. (I can't remember what they are though.)

My truck has a D60, I plan to use an simuilar adapter for the rear as well.
