auto to 4 speed
i have a 76 3/4 ton chevy pickup that has a bad t350 tranny in it with a full time transfer case, what i want to do is change it to a manual trans. The question i have is will a manual tranny bolt to the full time transfer case? or do i need a different transfer case?

I'm guessing you will need to change the transfer case as well. I'm not really educated on the NP203 but I'm thinking that the input spline on the t-case for an auto trans is different than that of a manual trans. At least this is the case with a NP205 part time t-case.

1974 was the only year for SM465 and NP203 together. So you would need the adapter and check the input/output shafts. The SM465/NP205 combo should be easier to find.
