Re: kick panel speakers

I have kick panel speakers and I would not recommend them - there are issues with accessing the dimmer switch and e-brake. JMO.

Re: kick panel speakers

I made my own, moved the dimmer switch as well. There is a "How To" somewhere, try a search.

Re: kick panel speakers

I want to do the same thing, but I've always heard that the speakers that came with them are terrible. I'm hoping I can find some good ones that will fit in the panels.

Re: kick panel speakers

I have the same ones that all of you have I did move my dimmer switch and have to sort of hold the ebrake pedal to the right when I push it in. I ran just the kick panel speakers for a while and they did sound better than the am radio I had in it before with the center dash speaker but you couldn't turn them up real loud. I had a custom box made for a 8 inch sub speaker and put that in the space under the passenger seat and it made a huge!!!!! difference, and of course did a small amp under there also. The sub just barely clears the underside of the seat, totally worth the effort.
