headliner question / yes another
been seeing some recent posts about getting headliner from bone yard & covering it with a foam backed material using adhesive. Ilike that idea. Right now Idont have a headliner . Anybody put one in where there wasnt one before > Im sure Iwould have to get some sort of trim peices -right? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: headliner question / yes another
My 87 didn't have a headliner, and I put one in. If your truck has the plastic trim on the side walls, that is all you need. Well, the smaller metal peices that go over the windows and one of the windshield. I got mine from a junkyard, had to fix some spots, but turned out OK. I ordered like 10' of material from a place on line, can't remember the name. It was $50 for all that. I have a small overhead console that I recovered with the same material, just need to finish it.

Re: headliner question / yes another
I just had my stock headliner recovered at a shop for 90.00. It came out like new. He couldn't get the stock material off so he went over it with the new material. You may be better finding one in a junk yard so you can get the stock trim. You can also paint the stock trim what ever with some good interior paint.

I took what was left of the stock stuff off, and glued the new stuff on. Goes on pretty easy, just glue small areas at a time, so no wrinkles/bubbles. I'm not sure if mine ever came with one, but all the trim was there, just no board.

Re: headliner question / yes another
I sell a replacement headliner, just not the trim pieces.
