seat options

I just bought a 82 c10 shortbed over the weekend and it needs some work. Mostly it is just interior work and the seat is beyond gone. I was trying to seat what seats out of other vehicles would swap in without welding just bolt in.

I have a friend with a bench out of a 91 Silverado would that work?

Re: seat options

the 91 seat will work with a little tweaking, mounted on the 82 brackets

Re: seat options

What kind of tweaking? My welder broke and I was looking for something simple since its my driver until I get my 53 f100 fixed

Re: seat options

I have that style of seat in my 84. Previous owner did it, but it's in there. Haven't looked to see what all they did to make it work, but I'm sure not much.

Re: seat options

The seat tracks on 73-78 (-91rv) are closer together than the 88-up seats (and much, much shorter too).

Immediate plans- get it running!
Future plans-
Rear disc swap & Hydroboost
Dually conversion with shackle flip-n-switch
4x4 conversion with 52" springs
Maybe some new body panels
Who needs a car when they make crew cab trucks?
