No speedo and fuel gauge acting up.
Ok, so yesterday I took out my gauge cluster, cleaned it up some and installed byrd's white face stickers. I had to litterally pry off the needles on the speedo and fuel gauge to get them off to put on the stickers. So when they were off I had the wife paint them while I applied the stickers and cleaned it up.I put the speedo needle back on the bottom line where 0 would be and put the fuel needle back to where it sits when it is unplugged (3:00). So now my speedo doesn't work, it slowly moves and stops at about 20mph when I'm doing 70+ and the fuel needle goes a little right of full and doesn't move (I know gas is getting guzzled). Is it possible I got the wrong needle on the wrong gauge? The speedo needle not pushed down far enough? (I know the cable it working) I think I just got the fuel gauge needle off to far but anyone else had these problems after taking off the needles or are you not supposed to take off the needles at all?
