left side battery tray

Years ago when my 72 1/2 ton was 4 years old I added another battery tray on the drivers side of the radiator. It was a regular accessory for the truck at that time. They seem to be no longer available thru the dealer. Does any one know of a source for them? I want to uses the stock battery cables for my LQ9 conversion on my 67. I have been haunting ebay but have not seen one. Fred

Re: left side battery tray

I just sold one on ebay two weeks ago. Extremely rare part. It brought $153 and change. Good luck!

Re: left side battery tray

Scott's Super Trucks in Penhold has em. I have done about 95% of the work to have the sides fabricated to sell but just have never gotten around to finishing it off. I have built a couple of prototypes and gotten all of the holes exact. I just need to get the blank size perfect for bend allowance. The tray itself is readily avialable and is the same as the one on the pass side.
