tailgate handle?
How do I get the stainless steel cover off the tailgate handle?

I know they are rare on our trucks, but does anyone know how to take it off? Thanks everyone

i use a block of hard wood and a hammer and tap it gently, they bend really easy.

The original ones, you just pull on it from the bottom and roll it up as the top wraps around. Hard to explain, but just pull up on it.

Dan is right. Just try to get a hold of the bottom edge and pull it off. They just snap on, that is why so many are missing. This is a 72 isn't? In 71, the handle itself was chromed. It wasn't a cover.
