Daily Drivers
Was just driving down the interstate with a buddy and we were talking about how cool it is to be using an old truck as a daily driver. Then he joked about watching the highway go by thru the holes in the floor!!! lol... My Honda car burned up in January and now I'm back to my old K20 for transportation. Forgot how much fun driving an old truck is, thou my teen age daughters hate it when they come over...
So lets see your daily drivers! Mine.

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. Last edited by Andy4639; 03-25-2009 at 07:42 PM. |

Re: Daily Drivers
Here's mine. I try to keep mine in the garage when there's salt on the roads. I like vehicles you actually have to drive, i.e. no cruise control, no automatic transmission, no power steering, no power brakes, no power period in my case You won't see me talking on the cell phone while cruising (not that I could hear anything if I tried).

It isn't the best picture, but it's what I've got on hand at the moment.

"...about watching the highway go by thru the holes in the floor!!! lol... " Hey, I resemble that remark.
The truck is in the parking lot at work right now. Manual steering, manual brakes, manual transmission. |

Here's my all-weather, non-PS, non-PB, no AC, 10 mpg daily driver. I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Re: Daily Drivers
Thems some great trucks...
Always wanted an old fat fender truck as a daily driver. Stock body with aggressive stance, new drive train... Maybe something like this
