71 cheyenne parts question... dang aftermarket...

do ya of you guys know a vender that has the light blue or even dark blue dash pad for a 71? i can't seen to find blue....
i would really like to get a good one. and not over spend and have a junk one...

also so i'm looking for a windsheild to be installed in my truck and it has the chrome around the window and every glass guy says there is a after market gasket that is made that wouldn't except the factory trim. can any of you guys that could point me in the direction of a supporting vender that has repo pieces that work?
thanks.David

We have the bright blue dash pad in stock, and the 71-72 windshield gasket that accepts the trim. You can call us toll free 888-338-2502 and place an order if you like. WES

IIRC the bright blue pad is the only one available.Save the trim since most claim the aftermarket trim does not work well. It's a pain anyway according to what I've read.

Re: 71 cheyenne parts question... dang aftermarket...

The problem is the bright blue dash pad isn`t the same bright blue as a seat which is a more metallic blue. That`s fine for the later trucks, but the a`68 would have had one closer to the seat color and a`69 would have dark blue. They don`t make all the colors.Just one shade of each color...the one they figured we`d need the most.Dying vinyl is very safe these days. It`s the industry standard to dye interior colors. You can take something for your paint shop to scan and they can make you a spray bomb. There`s a product called BullyDog adhesive promoter that will garauntee a good job.
