Saved Another Box

ETsC10 was not really going to send this to crusher...Powerbench drove down from Surrey, BC to pick it up so we got together for coffee and bagels thanks to ETsC10! Fun little get together on a Sunday morning.

First pic...Da trucks. Sillyoldman, stllookn, ETsC10 and Livrat.

Second pic...Loading the bed. Powerbench Sr., Powerbench, Livrat, ETsC10 and Sillyoldman.

Third pic...The only guys working. Powerbench and his dad...Sillyoldman supervising...LOL!

Great to meet some new members, even though they are "Frostbacks".

Re: Saved Another Box

I think they should cut some slack to people from out of state on some of the stupid laws like that.
Thats just retarded. Unless you were holdin up traffic, or unable to maintain the speed limit, then why can't you go there... other than "becouse we say so"?
I guess every state has a long list of retaded laws.
Hope it's a cheap one.

Re: Saved Another Box

In Pennsylvania you can't drive in the left lane unless you are passing. And the State boys decide WHEN you are passing.

I found this out the hard way. And after a short discussion with several troopers with less than friendly attitudes i was cordially escorted out of Pennsylvania the remaining 24 miles.

I dont even have time for the whole story here..............

Re: Saved Another Box

Yep. I was supervising. Heck even leisure time can be put on a resume. I was LMAO when I saw "Cardboard Andy". Anyone notice this. I was supervising but out of all the hands you can see how many of them are in pockets? It is cold. I left there only to go see livrats shop. All I can say is "WHOA". And yes I think the traffic citation bothered me as much as it did powerdriver. They'd never write them tickets closer to Seattle where people may know better or deserve them.

Don, write it down as casual labor---(very casual)
And, ya, Livrat's stash would make any truck lover go into shock!

Rick, I really do think you should write the courts on the ticket.
Not only were you from out of state--but, from out of country.
You can't be expected to know WA laws to be a licensed BC driver.

Give it a shot...couldn't hurt.

Any forensic expert worth their weight in beans could find my DNA and prints on the pair of pliars and on the bed too. Or did you wipe them down?

As far as the stash... Double whoa!, without being too specific

Re: Saved Another Box

I don't for see any actions being taken on the ticket, but i'am going to add a letter with my cheque... calmly written , explaining that with the money they collect for that type of fine ,it might be nice to put some signs up that explain it is a violation. When i got home i realized i didn't even check out everyones trucks....now i have an excuss to drive back down...maybe in my truck..i hope...

As for the ticket, for sure a good idea. The cop could have been smarter...and kinder.
Maybe you should also direct your note to the appropriate courts. If you need help, PM me.
