Saturday pics (5-9) More rain...
It's still pouring rain by the buckets down here guys! We didn't go to any automotive functions or have any cool projects going on, but we did get out for a movie and a bite. (Saw the new X-men...cool flick, and spotted a couple 67-72 trucks in it as well). Sooner or later this has got to clear up and we'll be able to get out and do something! I hope these couple of shots will hold you guys over til I can come up with something a bit more exciting.
Apparently 3.5" of drop combined with a 255 tire is the magic combo for clearing parking lot curbs! Just playin with the camera while sittin in traffic in the rain... |

Another guy thats getting the most out of his car...
I couldn't help myself... FAR, FAR from being a great shot, but the sun did come out just long enough for us to catch a glimpse of a rainbow! I hope you guys like em! Hopefully this weather will clear up soon and we can get things moving again. |

I can think of some political jokes for that one... "Get a truck, democrat" sort of jokes. Clever shots! Check out my last round: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=3301398 |

Re: Saturday pics (5-9) More rain...
Rain is our forecast all weekend into next. It's rained about 4" here in the past week. It's great. I wish we could get some more of it. I have drove the truck this week to work and it's rained on it every night so far.
The lakes are starting to fill back up so it's all good.

Cool pics as always
They are more than filling back up! Hartwell is only 3' below "average".

Asa,
If its not raining Friday you need to grab some peeps and come to Dayton for the Strawberry Cruise-In downtown. Streets are closed off (except to cruise-in participants). Start at 6pm, there will br food vendors and crafts for the ladies, live music and a lot of cars !!!! |

Re: Saturday pics (5-9) More rain...
It is in downtown Dayton, you can take 75N to 124 around Chatt then onto 27S ( like you are going to downtown Chatt ), and just follow 27S to Dayton.
Go thru 6 stop lites and look for the Welcome Center on your left, turn left and you will see all the cars and people and they will direct you to the cruise0-in parking. If you can make it I'll see you there. I know Josh will be there with his 47 IH , we justed finished putting a 4.8 outta a Yukon in it and it works and runs GREAT !!!!! heres the link: http://www.tnstrawberryfestival.com/ See Ya, DeWayne PS Tried to get Dalton to come up but he is outta town this weekend |

Re: Saturday pics (5-9) More rain...
You mean 27 North don't you?? South would have me right back where I am now.
We'll see what we can do. I'll have to see if the right combination of weather and willingness is there come Friday. |
