speed warning question

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the speed warning setup? I'm trynig to understand if the speedo head has the buzzer in it or does the buzzer relay buzzer when excited? If anyone knows where a buzzer can be had let me know PLEASE!

Did you see the buzzer on the back? I know the speedo is not correct, but I think the buzzer is the same. I think there are a number of buzzers that will work for your application. IIRC 71Super discussed them in another thread recently. Good luck... hey remember when you rolled down Indiana Ave a while back and thought the dude with all those 67-72 SWB in his yard was me?? Well, that dude was evicted last week...saw the sign on the front door, and all the trucks are gone except one on the side yard (the nicest one). I am going to contact the owner of the prioperty and see if he abandoned it or what.

buy you a two wire buzzer, you can find any kind and sound of buzzer under most dashes and any wrecking yard, heck, it dont have to be two wire , come to think of it, as long as you wire the power wire hot and the one coming from the head to ground, the speedo needle when reaches the set of the speedminder head, it completes the ground , so all you need to do is figure what beep on your buzzer you preffer and wire it up, power would make more sense being key hot.

my 66 has a speed warning light on the dash in the bottom row dont know what sets it off though
