Re: looking for NP205 rebuild kit

I am beginning to think he sent me a turbo400 kit. The seals are way too big for the 350 shafts.

Re: looking for NP205 rebuild kit

I have a parts break down if you like. I think these O/H kits cover Ford and Dodge as well. I also ordered an O/H manual from Quadd4x4, it was expensive ( at least I thought ) But every thing is explained in laymen's term.

Re: looking for NP205 rebuild kit

On a completely unrelated (but not) issue, how cool is this interweb deal that a guy (Dan) can run a parts store out of his house in rural Montana and it doesn't matter if you are in Grande Prairie AB, or the Wairarapa NZ, you can access parts and knowledge across the universe!
Well, I think it's cool anyways!

You winning nu2-72?

Bill.

Re: looking for NP205 rebuild kit

I think I am winning. I am replacing the adapter bearing today and then it is back together. Ready for paint. The spline thingy matches the yoke/splines. But only one. There are also several extra gaskets so I believe the multi-make statement is correct.
Seems silly to ask specific app. and then get a universal kit but that's the way it goes.
I will put up a pic later.
Thanks everyone.

Re: looking for NP205 rebuild kit

Here it is clean, hanging and taped off ready for paint tomorrow. I bead blasted all parts to the case and washed completely, assembled and washed with solvent and DX330.
