2000 4.8 engine, comlete, $800, Jersey, neat swap

4.8L Vortec ENGINE alone. 76,000 miles. Removing, but still in, a wrecked(NOT rebuildable), 2000 Chevrolet Silverado. This one does NOT have the customary ‘death rattle’. (piston slap). This 4.8L V-8 engine, with aluminum heads, will come complete with all accessory brackets for the guy who wants to transplant this into something. It will include the duct work, exhaust manifolds, etc. IF WANTED, but not the actual actual alternator or A/C compressor, but CAN be offered with those if you need them for minimal additional $ . Engine buyer has first dibs at all accessories. incase you are doing a VERY complete swap. I can provide all the engine harness and ECM for additional $ if needed for a fire repair or transplant. These engine are noted for outstanding power for the their small cubic inch(292) and also their good fuel mileage. I have driven THIS truck and even with a just 3.42 rear gear this little engine would scream. This one is out of a company owned truck that was only driven by one man and well taken care of.

This engine will also swap out with a 5.3 LS series truck motor and is identical except for the stroke of the engine. All dimensions and Accessories are the same.

I welcome anyone to come here that wants to hear it run. The 4L60E transmission is available also for street/hot rodders.Buyer of engine has first dibs on tranny. If you are from a long distance away and want it out when you get here and trust what I am saying(read my feedbacks) then I will do that and that's why I need a $200 paypal deposit. There are NO re-negotiations of $800. price.

SHIPPING?
I am willing to TRUCK FREIGHT it. I have palletized many things, but all the quotes and estimates are on YOU. Shipping company YOU CHOOSE must have a Dock within within 25 miles of 08070 zip code. There are plenty in New Castle or Newark ,Delaware, also Chester, Pa. I do not go into Philadelphia,Pa.. I could give a decent estimate of pallet size & weight. Don’t kid yourself. It’s expensive unless you have a special deal with a trucking company. Some companies give FIRST TIME discounts, but you have to ask.

CALL- David, 856-678-7883 BEFORE 9 PM, (EST)my time

LOCATED; In Pennsville, N.J. 08070. , N.J. Routes 295, 40, 130,and 49 along with the NJ turpike all end right here in Pennsville at the base of the Delaware Memorial Bridge and I am only 5 minutes from the base of the bridge and easy to find. Also only 10 minutes from Rt.95 through Delaware & Pa. . I have room out front for a big rig too.
