Congrats to him - he needs to sign up with the board if he hasn't already.

Nice looking truck. Is it staying 4wd or going to the ground like the rest of the crowd?

Re: Look what my Nephew just bought.

The plan as of today is new bumpers, new rims a minor overhaul of the inside, plus a tune up. And yes it will remain a 4x4 for at least a while.

Re: Look what my Nephew just bought.

Nice Blazer. Welcome from San Antonio. Looks like a great start and it's 4x4. The 2wd's are good looking too, but you just cant beat a big, lifted, old truck or Blazer. What are the specs on it? What are the plans for it?

Re: Look what my Nephew just bought.

Hey everyone, thanks for the warm welcome! I've been lurking on here for a while as I have a 64 short fleet pickup, and my dad and uncles and cousins have always had trucks of this era.

I do want to keep it as a 4x4 for the foreseeable future. I plan on fixing it up as a driver and using it as a truck when needed. It needs a new water pump and the steering gearbox is barely hanging on. But the plan is to fix it up a little at a time since I'm primarily focusing my efforts on my 67 Firebird at the moment.

Hopefully it will make it to Brother's next month, and it will surely make an appearance at the next C/10 party in Atwater!
