Re: engine fit????
It surely fits.I`m not sure about the motor mount locations. If they are different you will just need to fab motor mount perches. The transmission is no problem.

Re: engine fit????
I did 3 swaps like that in the early 80's.I don't remember exactly what years though they were close. The trucks were tons ,but should be real close in that area if not exactly the same.I had both the donor cars and the recieving trucks and IIRC I never made a trip to the APS.Meaning I used all stock parts from one or the other of each to do the work.Should make for a fun ride. The ones I did were old boom wreckers for a JY.

Re: engine fit????
It will fit with room to spare. And you'll love the torque of that big Olds. I could be wrong but seems I remember bb chevy mounts worked with the Olds install.

Re: engine fit????
It will work. You need the mount perches from a 73 to 88 olds diesel or BB Chevy powered truck.

Re: engine fit????
67- 72 6cyl. perches with Olds mounts also work good. You just have to drill thru the perches for the Olds mount "thru bolt". There are 2 common Olds mounts- one style puts the engine up a little higher. I think we used the "low" style on the last swap we did.
