NP 205 dissasembly issues...Dang this thing!
Im trying to take apart my 205 so i can change the input shaft from a "short" 32 spline to a "long" 32 spline. These snap rings are incredibly difficult to remove! Any advice on what to expect when i (if) get them off?
I priced a shop to do it and they wanted 4.5 hours book time!

Re: NP 205 dissasembly issues...Dang this thing!
I hear you, ive got more time than that into cleaning and rebuilding mine. also fab'd a custom adapter to mate a 205 w/ TH350 adapter to a 700R4 out of 2x6 rec tubing. the 700R4 is built for 450hp, converted to full hydraulic, all this going behind a fresh 454. a work in progress.
