Re: WIW: 350tbi &700r4

If the engine doesnt puff smoke at startup from the valve guide seals being worn/dried up, and it doesnt drip out the rear main, and doesnt burn oil, and has good compression when tested, and throws no codes when jumping the aldl port, I would say $350-500 for the engine complete with harnesses and all wiring/everything to convert depending on your local supply/demand issues.

If the transmission is a 2wd, and doesnt have the gm reman tag hanging off it or some other documentation giving an impression of having less than the 150k on it, I'd say its worth $100-150... high mileage and they arent known for running forever.

If the transmission is a 4wd I'd bump it up to $150-200, assuming you include the tv cables, etc for someone wanting to convert etc.

Either transmission price depends on pulling the pan and having it be clean and not sludge filled on the pan, having nice clean fluid when up first open it up, and not having any clutch band material hanging around in there from it starting to wear, and no leaks from the shaft seals etc......

All of that said

It appears a sensor is unhooked, looks like it might be the IAC on the passanger side of the throttle body... make sure you run it with all the sensors connected and hooked up to ensure its functioning as it should before sale, and if it needs things replaced go on rockauto or somewhere and adjust your price accordingly...

Lane, i ran mine (91)for a while run for $450 on craigslist and no takers, just tire kickers. Also at that price it could be heard run. The COMPLETE TBI systems bring OK money on ebay, but a lot of parts to package and the 87-91 set up, old body style, sell better because of 73-86 guys wanting them for changeover. get whatever you can for a 2WD 700R4 (actually a 4L60E in that year) . crossy

Re: WIW: 350tbi &700r4

Trans is a 4L60E if it is a '95. There is NO TV cable to shift it, it shifts by the computer only. It is only really good to someone who has one in the truck currently. I'd say $100-$125 with the said mileage.

The motor - approx $250-$350 ballpark without hearing it run. I wouldn't pull them untill someone comes and hears it run.
