replacemant gas tank

I'm replacing mine, the full kit. has anyone use one from these suppliers? if so, why is LMC so much cheaper (all priced with the full kit.)

All I can say is use some leather gloves, like the ones you would use for yard work while installing the new tank! The edges are very sharp, I found out the hard way and sliced my hand bad.

Plus, the tanks I see are kind of "universal" since there will be hose connections that your rig may not use. Just plug em' off. You may also be confused by the metal bands used for support that they send with it, they bend them in a way to make shipping easier so you just need to bend them to the shape they need to be.

As for the price... It just goes to show that not all suppliers sell this stuff at the same price. I myself have seen huge price differences on things like carpet, from shop to shop so it pays to check them all.

Oh, install your fuel grade rubber fill tube on the tank before installing it between the frame rails! I think I had to drop my newly installed tank 3 or 4 times to get it right, since there is not enough room to install it and clamp it off while fully installed. The new tank I got - the fill pipe is not as long, and not curved like the original to facilitate installing the rubber fill pipe while the tank is installed.
