Final paint pictures of my crew cab

Ok sorry it took so long, but here it is. I'm pretty happy with it, it has a couple of waves and a few dimples but for the money I spent to get this thing done I couldnt expect anything more. I still need to bring the front down an inch or so and get some tires, and it needs a new tailgate band but I think its coming along pretty good.

I dont think so, he took the measurements off another bed at my friends farm. Thats the only real problem I had with the way it was finished

Looking good Adam. I think some chrome wheel well trim would really finish it off since you have the trim on there. Maybe paint the wheels Argent... but keep the hub caps.

Re: Final paint pictures of my crew cab

hey adam big brown is lookin good. you gotta do somthing with the crooked trim, how about a chrome sport rear bumper and some chrome dumbo mirrors to finish her off.

i know you got a poll going for the mirrors and now that i see it chrome dumbos are the way go.

i wouldn't worry about in the front and in the back my truck is the same way

Glad to see you finally got it home man! Looks good. Are you going to stay with those wheels/hubcaps or are you doing something different?

I have some rusty ones I just took off my truck. At least they look like it. Most muffler shops have an assortment of those tips.

Wheel well trim is already on order, not sure about the wheels though. I have a set of 20"s that I might put on once I get some tires.

Cool that would really drive me nuts after awhile. It's something a lot of people wouldn't notice, but it would drive me nuts!

Sweet, I like it!

Speaking of sport bumper.... did you need the rear bumper brackets off the burb?

Re: Final paint pictures of my crew cab

Adam, I finally got to get online. The truck is looking great. About the mullet comment though...I think it is a backward mullet. GMC carries a more business attitude. So I think you are more like party in the front and business in the back. But, either way, I am really liking it. And, now I really think I want to build one next.

Actually I pulled the outers off of it but I'm not sure if they are going to work for a pre 81 sport bumper? If they wont work I'll give them back to you.
