Factory toolbox part needed...........
.........does anyone have a lock/hardware for a '71 factory toolbox door? I can probably make something work, but if I can find the right one here I figured it was worth a try. Thanks!

Re: Factory toolbox part needed...........
Maybe a member can post a pic of the inside of a toolbox door? That would help me figure out how to make one.

Re: Factory toolbox part needed...........
I know Ford made a toolbox also which seems more common and less expenisve. I never looked close enough at the handle and lock mechanism to see if they could be interchanged some how??

Re: Factory toolbox part needed...........
Don't know on the Ford box...........maybe..........I am sure I can fabricate something, it is pretty simple. I was just hoping someone had a rusty door they could sell the lock out of. Or just a pic of the back, showing whatever is hooked to the lock cylinder.

Re: Factory toolbox part needed...........
I tried a door tumbler from my Vega, it fits fine. I just need a key and then I can fabricate the arm, what's on the Vega one is already close. So I guess I am good to go!
