Header Problems

I just installed my new front driveline and went to install the header on the drivers side and it hits the driveline. does anyone know if there is a way to "make" the header fit. Can it just be heated up and bent to the angle that works....? It needs to be moved up about an inch and out an inch.

Re: Header Problems

What exactly did you change/install new?
Did the driver side header work prior?
Are the headers new, or purchased used?
Was there any changes to the motor mount set up?

When I ran headers on my SB K20 burb with 4spd, there was a lot of room with the frame being the tightest spot but none the less cleared just fine.

Re: Header Problems

I purchased the headers used and have not been installed prior to my engine swap. I really don't want to get new headers and would like to find a way to make these work.

Re: Header Problems

Headers are a pain in the ass. I'd run manifolds dual exhaust if I had manifolds.

Bend them if they are slightly off. Get new ones if not.
