I guess my truck qualifies as "rat rod" at the moment.

Lol, the pic doesn't show the rust or engine bay or inner bed area. It's not horrible I guess.

Re: Show me your ratty hot rods!!!!
Could you skip the interior work and do the bags first? I'd trade my decent interior for milk crates and a boom box if it meant having air bags. in a second.

Re: Show me your ratty hot rods!!!!
Nice group fellas! I'm trying to get my buddies to identify their "Ratty Rods" as a Grudge-Mods... Original patina'd beauty on the outside - and sleeper mod down deep... Keep them coming i I love Macyak's the best so far... Go! rusty-weed-eaters-go.... I'm to ugly to need to see myself in the reflection of a shiny paint job. Not that they're not nice... but I lovem all.

Re: Show me your ratty hot rods!!!!
no its bagged with a c notch in the rear and I did spraybombs cupped stock lower up front.... I added 1/8" shim to the uppers and have been running the ass of it ..it drives good but I need to make the rear panard bar a bit longer or put a ful length one on it because it's off set about an inch to the driverside at ride height.....

I'll trade interior for bags! but no worries, all i really want to do is find a decent seat, and run a painted, bare metal floor. should be cheap. then ill bag. i might use the FBI kit, the 899.00 one, with the dominator bags and viair compressor. Is this kit good? i have noooo previous airbag experiences, so this is all new.... |

Re: Show me your ratty hot rods!!!!
i bet its cut coil front and stock rear.
if your wanting to save money, you could add like a 2 or 2.5 inch block to the rear, for a cheap drop. or i think drop rear coils are like, 100 bucks. |

Re: Show me your ratty hot rods!!!!
he has leaf springs in the rear, a block would only raise it up higher. he would have to get a drop shackel or lowering leaf springs.
