front end questions
I'm working on a '70 C10 for a guy. He bought all new front end parts for it and wants them installed. The problem is, the truck has 5 lug and disc brakes. And, the motor mounts are a later style. I'm guessing it's a 73-up crossmember. So my question is will the front end parts work the same? Or does he need to take it all back and get later model stuff?

Re: front end questions
I think the -72 front end had steel threaded pivots on the upper & lower control arms & 73- were rubber/urethane. I am sure if i am wrong someone else will speak up. James

Re: front end questions
I think that's right. Should be a way to tell. I think if he walked up to the counter and asked for parts for a 70 then having a 5lug makes all that stuff useless.

Re: front end questions
How about the steering components? Center ling, tie rod ends, ball joints, etc.
