Re: Small cap hei?
quite a few manufactures do // i've used the one from pertronics ,it uses an external coil so it keeps the original apperance with the ease of HEI

Re: Small cap hei?
I have a 1972 CST Blazer. I also have a HEI in it. It fit very close to the fire wall however I left the plug wire lock ring off and it fits OK. The only thing that is a challenge was the plug wire lenghth. I used the mallory universal set with angle boots. They now make a new cap for rewiring the cap so the right 4 and left 4 banks are on the same corresponding sides which would make wiring easier. Another thought would be using an 88 and up 5.7 distributor which is smaller but has an external coil. I am pretty sure it would fit. Good luck.
